Something good happened to me at the beginning of 5th grade. I couldn’t wait for my ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher, to call me out of the classroom. When she came and told me to come out into the hall, she finally told me. She told me that I was not going to ESL classes any more.
I felt happy and excited. I could finally go to a higher level. I felt proud of myself. I said, finally no more ESL.
My mom and dad were so proud of me. Now I keep getting better and better. Now I’ve learned a lot. That’s a special thing for me because now I think I can keep getting better and better.
