Adelmo J. Mattini, age 82, of Indiana, PA, formerly of Chicago and Des Plaines, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003. He retired from The City of Des Plaines, IL and School District #62 of Des Plaines. Surviving are two sons, Dennis and wife Devona, Indiana, PA, and James and wife Donna, Chicago, IL; three grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth “Leno” Mattini, Wheeling, IL and two sisters, Lena and husband GiGi Pigoni, Bensenville, IL and Nancy and husband William Edenhofer, Bensenville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Lillian Mattini. Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, with interment in the church cemetery with graveside military rites.
