Frank Abramovich passed away on December 29, 2003. He was born on April 7, 1912, in Cokedale, CO, to parents Ivan and Lucia. Frank spent his youth growing up in Croatia, and came back to the United States in 1927. He worked for 45 years at Wisconsin Steel Works in South Chicago. Frank lived in South Chicago, Lansing, IL, Hot Springs, AR and most recently Peoria, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, nee Niksic; brother Roy “Roko”; and son, John. Frank is survived by his half brother Joseph (Tonka) Dosen of British Columbia, Canada; son Paul of Cottonwood, AZ; six grandchildren, Susan Abramovich of Woodstock, GA, Sandy (Yoram) Ben-Hanania of Alpharetta, GA, Sharon (Brian) McCauley of Port Richey, FL, Karen (J.R.) Gaddy of Chandler, AZ, Michael (Pam) Abramovich of Goodyear, AZ, Paula (Dan) Tanis of St. John, IN; 11 greatgrandchildren; daughters-in-law Shirley and Janet; and many friends at the Casa Del Rio Retirement Apartments. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon, followed by a memorial service at noon at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W.
