Joseph R. Shine, 69, of St. Petersburg, Florida, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003 at his home. He moved to Florida in 1994 from his native city of Chicago. He was a proud Chicago Fireman for 32 years. He was also a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge #1224. Beloved husband of the late Gloria I. Shine of 48 years; also beloved father of Elmira F. Sullivan (husband, Thomas Sullivan) of Oak Lawn, IL, Jo E. Feick and Theresa M. Pereira (husband, David Pereira), both of Poplar Grove, IL; sisters, Winifred Cyr of St. Petersburg, FL and Roberta Elkin of Clearwater, FL and brother, James Zeason of Lahabera, CA; also survived by nine grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren and other relatives and friends. Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33704. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 2., 2004 at 12 noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, 200 78th Avenue N.E., St. Petersburg.
