Custom cars, trucks, motorcycles, street rods, imports, antiques, race cars and other souped-up machines will be on display at the 42nd annual Carquest World of Wheels Jan. 30 through Feb. 1 in McCormick Place North. The show will include judging, a talent contest and appearances by customizers such as George Barris. Hours are 3 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 30, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Jan. 31 and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 1. Admission costs $15 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12 and free for children younger than 5. Coupons that reduce admission by $2 are available at Carquest Auto Parts.
