We now live in a world of terror alerts and a general mood of paranoia, which I think is in part facilitated by the media. (I agree with Michael Moore’s stance in “Bowling For Columbine.”)
In Friday’s [Dec. 26] “Nine Lines,” Leo Ebersole writes that one of the nine things we have to look forward to in 2004 is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “deeming himself ready for the Oval Office.” Thank God presidential candidates have to be born in the United States, at least saving us from this particular terror.
