Iowa is big-time politics on a small scale, one of the last chances people have to get close to candidates before the rush for the White House sweeps them away. It’s weeks of campaigning broken into millions of personal moments, some of which bring candidates right into the faces of likely supporters. In a day or so it will be over. In the run-up to Monday’s caucuses, Tribune photographer Pete Souza looked for revealing moments on the campaign trail.
