James DiIorio, 76, of Northfield, died on Jan. 19 of complications from heart surgery. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy Carmichael DiIorio; his sisters, Phebe Vasquez of McAllen, TX and Penny Rosekranz of Atlanta, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. DiIorio spent 38 years in sales with Print Technologies & Services. Active in his church, the Union League Club and many other organizations, Mr. DiIorio held degrees from Miami (O.) University and the University of Illinois. He served both groups as president of their Chicagoland alumni chapters. Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2515 Central Park, Evanston. Memorials can be made to the University of Illinois Foundation, Miami University, the Northminster Presbyterian Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
