Marilyn Garlsich, age 68, of Mt. Prospect. Cherished mother of Gail, (Garlisch), Buquicchio and Glenn Garlisch; proud grandmother of Madeleine, Nicholas and Victoria Garlisch; beloved mother-in-law of Daniel Buquicchio and Bridget (Eakin) Garlisch; dear sister to John, Mack and Jerry Neff; special aunt to nieces and nephews; treasured friend to a remarkable circle of friends. She treasured every conversation, cherished every relationship. She was an inspiration to us all, and will be missed beyond measure. A ceremony celebrating her life will be held Feb. 7, 12 p.m. at Unity Church of Chicago, 1925 W. Thome (between Devon and Peterson). Call 773-973-0007 for directions. Prospect from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be accepted by the Garlisch Family, who will make a donation in Marilyn’s memory to the “Lilac Tree”, an organization that support women in transition.
