Breaking up really is hard to do.
Since the Bennifer bust-up on Jan. 22, J.Lo has been ridding herself of any reminder of her relationship with ex Ben Affleck–including returning the $325,000 Rolls-Royce Phantom he gave her for her birthday, the San Francisco Gate reports.
But the principal of Jen’s old elementary school in the Bronx wants J.Lo to pony up the rock–her 6.1-carat, pink engagement ring. Instead of returning the ring to Affleck, Holy Family School’s Claire La Tempa wants Jen to put aside her feelings of loss and give the $1.2 million ring to the school.
“It would be very nice if Jennifer gave back to her old elementary school,” La Tempa said. “I would like to get the kids out of the school basement and build classrooms for them in the convent.”
