John Joseph Ulizzi, age 92, a longtime resident of Plano, TX, passed away on Jan. 28, 2004, in Carrollton, TX. He was born on July 16, 1911, in Buffalo, NY to Frank Ulizzi and Catarina Galluzzo. He lived in Chicago for 40 years then moved to California before moving to Plano. A man who would be remembered as a caring, giving person. Our dad loved to cook the Italian way but most of all he loved to dance. He’ll be in heaven now dancing with his wife of 61 years. Dad, we love you and we’ll miss you so very much. He is survived by his daughters, Dale Hajok and husband George, Rose Marie Ducato and husband Peter S., and Kathy Giggey and the late David; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; he will be dearly missed by his namesake grandson John Joseph Ducato. Mr. Ulizzi was preceded in death by his wife Lillian Marie Breaux; daughter Jean Valeria Matt; brothers and sisters-in-law Mike, Tommy and Threasa, Terry and Rose, Jimmy, Frank and Louella; and sisters Rose Damick and husband Dominick and Katie Ulizzi. Mr. Ulizzi will be interred next to his wife in Hoffman Estates, IL.
