Roger E. Ball, longtime resident of the Chicago area, passed away in Minneapolis on Jan. 30. He was dearly loved by his children, Lorrie Holmgren (Jon), R. Dennis (Mary Anne) and Katharine Robinson (Ralph); grandchildren, Katy and Ephraim Holmgren, Laura, Ryan and Tori Ball, Audrey Robinson and Sara (Jeff) Gammack. Born Sept. 19, 1912, he founded Roger Ball & Associates, a management consulting firm. He was a member of the Union League Club of Chicago, the Adventurer’s Club, the Cliff Dwellers and was a past president of the Literary Club of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; and his grandson, Ryan Robinson. Memorials to The Nature Conservancy, 800-628-6860.
