Dr. Peter John Lapins D.O., age 79, passed away Feb. 4, 2004 at Fairview Baptist Home in Downers Grove. Beloved husband of the late Marion, nee Kubitschek; loving father of Chris (Cheryl) Lapins and Ami Lapins; dear brother of Augusta (Jess) Lukomski, Jergens Lapins and the late Daniel (Rose) Lapins; fond brother-in-law of Jenny (the late Herbert) Kubitschek; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Before retiring Dr. Lapins practiced in North Riverside for 28 years. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII. A memorial will be held in Leland, MI at a later date.
