Larry S. King, age 70, passed away Feb. 5, 2004 in Scottsdale, AZ. Larry taught at Lane Technical High School in Chicago, IL, prior to becoming a History Professor at Harper College in Palatine, IL from 1968 until his retirement in 1996. At that time, he resided in Evanston, IL. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Larry is survived by his loving wife Joyce King; son Lawrence David (Linda) King and daughter Susan Gayle (Barry) Zweig; brother Sam (Tilda) King; brother-in-law Leonard Ellman; grandchildren Ryan and Jenna; and many friends and family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 11 a.m. at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale. The family prefers contributions to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.
