Love your I-PASS? The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority hopes those who do will log on to the agency’s Web site and share positive stories about their experience with the electronic toll-collection system.
The agency recently added a new section to its Web site (www.Illinoistollway.com) where people can post testimonials about I-PASS. So far, the page includes remarks from nearly two dozen I-PASS users, though the toll authority said the list is only a sampling.
The agency created the testimonial page after an I-PASS user e-mailed the staff and suggested it. The toll authority gets “enough of these e-mails,” so officials decided to put them on the site, said Michelle Damico, an agency spokeswoman.
But those who have problems with their transponders need not look for their comments to be posted anytime soon. The beginning of the page warns that the remarks are a sample of the comments it has received from “happy I-PASS customers.
