Julia Ann Hullum, (Aunt Julie West), 78, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Monday, Feb. 16, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at McGilley & Frye’s Funeral Home in Olathe, KS. 105 E. Loula, Olathe, KS 66061. The burial will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery. Julia was born in Mississippi in the 1920’s. She worked as a nurse at a New York hospital in the nuclear medicine department. She retired after the passing of her husband (Andrew Hullum) to move to Salt Lake City, UT with her son. After her son’s death she moved to Chicago to take care of her sisters. She was a Church Mother at Midwest Baptist Church in Chicago, IL. After her sisters passing she was surrounded by nieces and nephews who love and cared for her. She later reunited with her grandchildren and moved to Olathe, KS to be with them the last of her days.
