I am a 57-year-old, vegetarian woman. My weight is low (118 pounds) and my body fat is low as well. I have boundless energy and don’t miss the artery-clogging animal fats at all. I never understood Atkins “load up on animal fats, cheese, beef” diet. Fruits and vegetables are the “live” wonder foods that keep us healthy. What good is being thin if you die young from clogged arteries?
