Thank you for putting a true hero on the front page of the Feb. 15 Tribune. Claudine Christian is a worthy representative of the many who selflessly give of themselves and their lives to redeem the lives of children who otherwise would have no chance. Christian is there because of what she did and what she continues to do every day. Her example speaks so much louder and its impact lasts so much longer than the words and deeds of those who are front-page news by virtue of power or glitz or controversy. The world is a better place because of her.
