A four-door hatchback sedan and sport wagon will be added to the Mazda6 sedan lineup in March, says Jim O’Sullivan, president and chief executive of Mazda North America.

Mazda will introduce Sirius satellite radio as a dealer-installed option in six models this year. It’s coming to the 2004 Tribute, MPV and Miata in the spring; RX-8 in the summer; and Mazda3 and Mazda6 in the fall. It is expected to be a less than $400 option. For a monthly subscription fee of $12.95, Sirius offers 61 commercial-free music channels and 44 sports, news and entertainment channels, including live NBA and NHL games and the NFL next season.
