I am all for safety for children.

I have three of my own, ages 6, 3 and 10 months.

I think it is crazy, however, that I have to put my 6-year-old back in a booster seat when I put him on a school bus without seat belts (“Use of boosters,” Cars, Jan. 12).

Where is the safety on a bus?

Children on a bus without seat belts are absolutely unprotected.

When is a law going to be passed to protect thousands of children who ride buses without seat belts every day?
