Aleardo “Lee” Bernardi, 75, of Spring, Texas, formerly of Wood Dale, IL, died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, Born Jan. 25, 1929 in Chicago, son of the late Dominick Bernardi and Ida Nellie Romani Bernardi. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was retired from Fairrington Transportation in Hogkins, IL. Surviving are his wife, Claudia Johnson Bernardi; son, Patrick; daughters, Valerie, Vicky and Emily (David) Artificavitck; grandchildren, Ashley, Stephanie, Christopher and Andrew; sister-in-law, Martha Bernardi; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary; and a brother, Arthur. A memorial service for family is planned in Chicago. Interment was in Texas.
