Medgar Drayton Armstrong, age 40, of Chicago, beloved son of Joseph and Ethel Armstrong; loving brother of Joel and Courtney Armstrong, passed away February 15, 2004 at home. He was born in Pine Bluff, AR, and lived in Chicago for 39 years. Medgar worked at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. In 2003, he graduated from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. Medgar also leaves here on earth a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends to cherish his memory. The funeral was held February 21st at All Nations Community Church. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
