Ivan W. Buckmaster, 59 years, of Woodridge, died March 8, 2004 after a long illness. Courageous and loving husband of Marilyn, nee Trapp; loving son of Lillian and the late “Shorty” Buckmaster; father of Jeffrey and David; brother of Mary (Robert) Deprey, Marlene Barribeau, Allan Buckmaster and Melvin (Debbie) Buckmaster; godfather of Dr. Steven and Seth Anderson; special friend of Lina ForsNilsson of Sweden. Graduated from high school in 1962. Served in U.S. Army during Viet Nam Era. Graduate of Badger Business School in 1970. Retired from Service Auto Glass, Naperville in 2002. He was an accomplished woodworker, gardener and chef. Visitation 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75th St., Downers Grove, where Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday.
