Michelena Armatas, age 96, of South Holland, IL, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2004 at Ingalls Hospice Center, Harvey. She is survived by two loving daughters, Theodora (Demetrius) Dellaportas and Artemis (John) Trebella, both of Chicago; 10 grandchildren, Maria (Jon) Goldstein, Dianna Dellaportas, Peter and Thomas Dellaportas, Michelle (Matthew) Pitikios, Stacey (Angelo) Callas, John (Leo) Comer, Michael (Panagiota) Comer, Stephanie ComerPanos and Jennifer (Loni) Liagridonis; 22 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Jo Jusko of Munster, IN; one brother, John (Elsie) Dalio of Hammond. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Armatas in 1981. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 15, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 7021 Hohman Ave., Hammond, IN, with Father David Bissias officiating. Burial Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN.
