Ford is recalling more than 1 million 2000-03 Taurus and Sable sedans to fix brake lights that may fail. An additional 300,000 2003 Taurus and Sable cars are being recalled to repair the air filter, which can catch fire. Some 118,000 2003 Tauruses and Sables may have both defects. There is one report of an injury connected with the air filter malfunction, and two accidents are linked to the brake light failure
