Beloved husband of Hannelore (nee Woeste); loving father of Norbert (Kathy) Witte, Heidi (Joseph Gaucher) Witte; dearest Opa of Xander and Annika Witte and Mari Klotter; fond brother of Franz (the late Toni) Witte, brother-in-law of Joseph (Hannelore) Woeste, many brothers, sisters, and in-laws in Germany; many nieces and nephews and special friends. Member of Fortuna Soccer Club, Chicago & Niedersachen Social Club and proud member of printers union local M458 for 35 years. 9:30 a.m. prayers on Thursday at Kolssak Funeral Home, 189 S. Milwaukee Ave. (2 blocks south of Dundee Rd.), Wheeling for a 10 a.m. mass at St. Joseph the Worker Church, Wheeling. Interment will be private. Visitation from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday.
