I appreciated your recent article in RedEye on to tipping in restaurants. I totally agree that people tend to leave less than the 15 percent norm.
I think everyone should have to walk in the waiters’/waitresses’ shoes in order to appreciate what they have to do to make the customer as comfortable as possible. Perhaps if more people thought like you and I, those who work a little harder to make their living would not be having these issues!
