After spending more than eight months away from tennis while recovering from knee surgery, Serena Williams returns to the WTA Tour next week. But while the former No. 1 player spent her downtime acting on TV shows such as NBC’s “Law and Order,” Williams told Tennis Week magazine about an upcoming special project.
“I did a voice-over for the SpongeBob [SquarePants] movie,” Williams said. “And it’s gonna be really, really good, so I’m looking forward to that.”
