Barbara Jacqueline Leland Rumph, departed this earth on March 18, 2004, after a short battle with Cancer. Born in South Hadley Falls, MA, to Dr. Forrest and Avis Janette Leland. She graduated from Westbrook Junior College as a Medical Lab Tech. During the early 1940’s she worked at Boston Memorial Hospital. Barbara married Everett Donald Rumph in 1946 and spent the next 58 years in Brookfield and Willowbrook, IL. Beloved wife of Don Rumph; loving mother of Ken (Kristen), Doug (Julia Busta), Sandra (Glenn) Bromagen, David (Deborah) and Jeff (Margie); devoted grandmother of Ashley, Bo, Dan, Tyler, Matt, Megan, Ryan, Hayley, Rachel, Joey, Jack, and Kendall Ann. Visitation Sunday 4 to 9 p.m. at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Funeral Monday 11:30 a.m. at Clarendon Hills Cemetery, 6900 S. Cass Ave., Darien, where interment will follow.
