Alicia Silverstone and Djimon Hounsou are helping Queen Latifah open up shop.
The “Miss Match” actress and the Oscar-nominated actor have joined the cast of Latifah’s “Barbershop” spinoff, “Beauty Shop,” zap2it.com reports. The film centers on a hair salon run by Latifah’s character, Gina. Hounsou’s character, Joe, will play her love interest, and Silverstone will play the only white staffer in the salon.
“Honey’s” Bille Woodruff will direct, and shooting starts in April.
