To all the media, I would like to say:
Lay off.
Leave the children of politicians out of the media. If the court saw good reason to seal Republican Senate candidate Jack Ryan’s files with custody information about minors, there is probably sensitive information about the child and it’s none of our business.
Respect the law and the dignity of families, especially children.
I don’t understand all the hype about these files, but once the judge’s decision is made on these files, the media should leave it alone.
Most people don’t care. Barack Obama probably doesn’t care, and he and Ryan will probably both run a positive, tough race.
