1. Alana Beard, Duke

The Blue Devils’ 5-11 senior was a unanimous selection and joins former Tennessee star Chamique Holdsclaw as the only three-time first-team picks. Beard averaged 20.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game.

2. Diana Taurasi, Connecticut

The 6-0 senior guard, the two-time Naismith Player of the Year, led the Huskies in scoring (15.5 ppg), assists (4.9) three-pointers (68) and steals (50). UConn has a 134-8 record and two NCAA titles in her four years.

3. Kelly Mazzante, Penn State

The Lady Lions’ 6-0 senior, named to the first team for the second straight season, averaged 20.8 points, 4 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game this season. The two-time Big Ten player of the year hit 85 three-pointers on her way to becoming the Big Ten’s career scoring leader (2,879).

4. Nicole Powell, Stanford

The 6-2 senior led the Cardinal this season in scoring (20 ppg), rebounding (11.1), assists (3.8) and steals (1.9). Powell played every position during the season.

5. Nicole Ohlde, Kansas State

The 6-5 senior became the Big 12’s career scoring leader (2,218). She averaged 17.0 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game. She made 57.4 percent of her field-goal attempts.
