As if today’s music artists didn’t get enough ego strokes during the awards season, MTV is dishing out nods for its hit show “Total Request Live” and invites viewers to vote online at www.mtv.com.
The second annual TRL Awards features quirky, MTV-style categories such as the Quit Your Day Job award (best guest host), the Most Abused Intern award (self-explanatory), and the coveted Gridlock award (the guest whose fans most snarled traffic outside the show’s studio in Times Square).
The awards show airs at 4 p.m. April 13.
