Marjorie K. Overbey, of Appleton, formerly of Chicago, IL, age 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at Franciscan Care Center. She was born in Des Moines, IA on June 3, 1919, the daughter of Jack and Bessie, nee Fisher, Henrickson. On March 25, 1942 she married Q.T. Overbey. He preceded her in death in September 1962. She is survived by two children, Larry (Mary) Overbey of Lemont, IL and Maude (Gary) Lehman of Appleton; eight grandchildren, Pattie Ann, Scott, Rachel, Theresa, Jennifer, Amey, Eric and Thea; 13 greatgrandchildren; she is further survived by a brother, Lawrence Henrickson of Grand Marsh, WI; and very special friends, Darlene and Ellen. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son Thomas; and a brother Harry Jr. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2004 at Valley Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2004 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL. Interment will follow.
