I find it to be the height of irony that someone can lose her job because a picture of American soldiers’ coffins is published in a U.S. newspaper, when the casualties were a result of a war allegedly being fought to bring freedom and democracy to the nation of Iraq. President Bush’s enduring popularity both baffles and frightens me.
