A 22-year-old Markham man was killed early Saturday evening after a drug deal gone bad led to a shooting outside a fast-food restaurant in Harvey, authorities said.
Police Saturday were questioning two suspects in the shooting in a McDonalds parking lot at 14702 Dixie Highway around 5 p.m., Harvey spokeswoman Sandra Alvarado said.
At least four men in two cars–three in one car and one or two in the other–were in the middle of a drug transaction when “apparently they decided to rob each other” and exchanged gunfire, Alvarado said.
