A Markham man was identified Sunday after he was fatally shot during a drug deal in the parking lot of a Harvey fast-food restaurant, officials said.
Demario Mosley, 22, of the 16400 block of South Honore Avenue was pronounced dead at 5:47 p.m. Saturday in Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, a Cook County medical examiner’s spokeswoman said.
Mosley was one of at least four men in two cars in the parking lot of the McDonald’s at 14702 Dixie Highway about 5 p.m. when they exchanged gunfire in the middle of a drug transaction, said Harvey police spokeswoman Sandra Alvarado.
