– General Motors is introducing Cadillac to China, where it will begin selling the CTS luxury sedan, SRX crossover and Corvette-based XLR luxury roadster within a year. There will be 11 Cadillac dealers, though GM has no sales goals or projections for the venture.

– Kia will call its new sport-utility vehicle the Sportage when it arrives in dealerships this fall. Sportage was last sold in November of 2002. It will share a platform with the Hyundai Tuscon that arrives from the South Korean automaker this summer.

– The 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T has been chosen as the pace car for the July 11 NASCAR Nextel Cup Series running of the Tropicana 400 race at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet.
