I have a solution for the Iraq controversy. Since we found no weapons of mass destruction or ties to Osama bin Laden, we should just say, “Sorry, we made a mistake. Here’s your country back,” and then leave. The Iraqi people will start fighting among themselves and an eventual power will emerge. They will need to sell oil at that point, so we will eventually get it anyway, without the hassle or expense or loss of lives.
