Jadakiss
Kiss of Death
On his stellar 2001 debut, Ruff Ryder and Lox mouthpiece Jadakiss earned a reputation for snappy gangsta rap and quick-witted turns of phrase. His sophomore solo outing continues the tradition, but with lesser results. Like too many hip-hop releases, “Kiss of Death” is a star-studded affair that features high-profile guests. The best tracks are the few where ‘Kiss is left to his own devices.
