Soprano Deborah Voigt’s planned Ravinia recital at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Martin Theatre has been postponed to a future season, but she will appear as one of the soloists for Friday’s Chicago Symphony Orchestra performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 8, as announced.
Replacing the Voigt concert will be a song recital by two other Mahler soloists, bass-baritone John Relyea and mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe, accompanied by pianist Warren Jones. It will be Blythe’s festival debut.
