I love the idea of replacing cars with bicycles. What I really hate is adults riding their bicycles on the sidewalks. It’s a constant problem downtown, especially on Sundays whenever there is a bicycle event at the lakefront.
Bicyclists need to be reminded of the rules of the road for bikes. I seem to remember being taught bicycle safety in school back in the ’50s.
Is that no longer done?
