Goaltender Jocelyn Thibault, whose 2003-04 season was reduced to 14 games because of a hip injury, has been re-signed to a one-year contract by the Blackhawks.

Rather than file for arbitration, Thibault reportedly accepted the Hawks’ $3.3 million qualifying offer, increasing his salary $200,000.

During his abbreviated season, Thibault had a 5-7-2 record and a 2.85 goals-against average and a .913 save percentage.
