The Chicago Yacht Club has announced winners of the Race to Mackinac for some divisions. Genuine Risk, a 90-footer owned by Randall Pittman of San Diego took overall first place, reaching the island with a time of one day, eight hours. In the Chicago-Mackinac Trophy Division, the local boat Bozo’s Circus won first place with a time of one day, 19 hours. Esmeralda from Japan won the Mackinac Cup Division with a time of one day, 13 hours, and New York’s Earth Voyager won the Multihull Division with a time of one day, 10 hours.
