I wanted to say thank you to everyone who worked on the Chicago Tribune’s “Unauthorized Loop” series (Tempo, July 26-30).
Your reporters have done a tremendous job researching and bringing to life the most unusual and fascinating aspects of the Loop’s history.
I especially enjoyed the delightfully morbid account of the Loop’s worst disasters (“The darkest days: 10 Loop calamities,” July 26), and the article “The shops we miss . . . ” made me wish I had moved here years ago.
Great idea and great execution.
