Albert W. Wendt, age 70, served in the United States Air Force as a pilot. Second generation owner of Albert Wendt Construction Co. in Glen Ellyn, IL. Loving husband of Mary and the late Carolyn; beloved father of Larry (Cathy), Sherry Wendt, Michael Neece and Thomas (Julie) Neece; cherished brother of Florence “Toni” Prisk; grandfather of six; and great-grandfather of one. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Yurs Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St. (corner of Rt. 64 & Rt. 25), St. Charles. Interment will be private at Glen Oak Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
