Becki and Jessica Hector. Two precious lives, that of a mother and daughter, were taken abruptly in a tragic car accident on Aug. 1, 2004. Lifetime residents of Hinsdale, Becki and Jessica Hector, will be remembered by family and friends as full of life, love and laughter. Becki, age 52, is survived by loving husband, Larry Hector; special son and daughter, Spencer and Abigail; siblings, Claudia, Debbie, Lisa and Karl; and parents, Lou and Suzanne Zimmel. Becki was a compassionate mom, adoring wife and friend to all. She dedicated herself to helping others in both her professional and personal life. Her joyful spirit will always be remembered and forever keep us young at heart. Jessica, age 21, a graduate of Hinsdale Central High School, was due to complete her senior year at the University of Iowa. She had recently returned from a semester in Spain, where she studied the language as well as Journalism. It is devastating to see such a promising life come to an end before ever reaching its true potential. She will be dearly missed by everyone whose life she touched, a list that will continue to grow through those who survived and loved her.
