The Naperville City Council awarded a $265,000 construction engineering contract Monday to Earth Tech Inc. for the third phase of the Main Street reconstruction project.
Federal funds from the Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program will be used to reimburse the city for 80 percent of the construction engineering costs. The city will be responsible for the remaining 20 percent of the cost, or about $53,000.
