– The U.S. brig Niagara, a reconstructed War of 1812 warship, will visit Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave. Public boarding, for $5 per person, will be 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Aug. 13-15. – US SAILING says publication of “The Racing Rules of Sailing 2005-2008 Including US SAILING Prescriptions” is on schedule. US SAILING will mail a free copy to each member before the end of the year; additional copies will be available via their online store. These rules take effect Jan. 1. The Racing Rules of Sailing are revised and published every four years by the International Sailing Federation and the U.S. rulebook includes rules adopted for events held in the U.S. Visit www.ussailing.org/rules.

– Crowley’s Yacht Yard will open a new facility at 95th Street and the Calumet River. The site will offer more than 200,000 square feet of indoor storage and is scheduled to be ready to receive boats for storage this fall. Visit www.crowleys.com.
