Lindsay Lohan was the big winner Sunday night at the 2004 Teen Choice Awards, taking home four honors.
For her role in “Mean Girls,” the just-turned-18-year-old won best movie actress in a comedy, best movie hissy fit and best movie blush. She also took home the award for movie breakout star actress for her parts in “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday.”
Like all good awards shows, there were backstage antics. Ashlee Simpson (winner of the fresh face award) burped on command in the press room, mtv.com reports. Ashton Kutcher–who won for TV personality and reality/variety TV star–autographed a trophy from last year and gave it to the fan he thought had the worst seat in the house. Usher, whose “Confessions” won for best album, thanked Halle Berry, who was sitting in the front row, for “looking so good tonight.”
The awards show, hosted by Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie, will air at 7 p.m. Wednesday on Fox.
